Dominic has over 20 years experience in the Banking and Wealth Management industry having held a number of senior managerial positions.
He started in corporate banking in the UK in the early 1990's, moving to Jersey in 1995 with Hill Samuel Private Banking (part of the Lloyds Banking Group). There he trained as a fund manager, running discretionary managed portfolios between 1995 and 1998. In 1998 he transferred to Lloyds Switzerland as the Fund Manager for two Luxembourg-based SICAV mutual funds and ran these as principal manager until 2001. In 2001 he remained with Lloyds but moved to a senior position in the UK Private Banking team in Geneva, which led to heading up all European-based UK teams in 2004. In 2006 he was appointed branch manager for Lloyds Private Banking, Monaco where he remained for four years. On his return to Switzerland Dominic resigned from Lloyds to start Thallo Capital. Dominic has taught Economics and Investment Management for the British Institute of Financial Services (formerly known as British Institute of Bankers), and taught Wealth Management for a Chinese Executive Programme at CASS business school, London. Dominic is a Chartered Associate of the Institute of Financial Services (ACIB), a Fellow of the British Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (FCSI), a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (TEP), and holds an MBA from Business School, Lausanne. |
